Wolverine let loose in Australia

4 November 2009

Melbourne based company Lifestyle Industries Group has clinched the distribution rights to leading US adventure and activewear brand Wolverine at a significant moment in its evolution.

Lifestyle Industries' director Debra Gaul confirmed the company launched its Individual Comfort System (ICS) earlier this month both in the US and Australia markets. Previews of the collection had been so well received that the US company had decided to bring forward its Austraian launch from 2010 to October 9, she said.

The ICS system had been designed to allow customers to choose from a range of comfort settings. It operates via a unique removable footbed and adjustable heel iCS disk. The disk has four settings: F for firmness, enhanced energy return and a bounce in your step; O for outer support, providing extra stability for high arches and to reduce outward tilt.; C for cushioning promising maximum shock absorption and I for inner support for low arches or to reduce inward tilt.

Lifestyles Industries will showcase Wolverine, along with its other key brands Keen footwear and Dansko at the Australian Shoe Fair, which takes place at the Sydney Exhibition Centre from 14-16 February 2010, co-located along side fashion fixture FASHION EXPOSED & preview.
