Sydney shoe player Billie Group is making waves in women's footwear with the recently launched Billini brand. Now in its second season, Billini has extended the company's offering to target the high fashion women's market.


Scholl Orthaheel is set to promote its latest offering targeting the ladies' footwear market this month. Retailing for $129.95, the Cork Sandal range comprises five different designs in genuine leather; Kate, Sara, Jane, Jenny and Lisa.


Chillikids hots up footwear

New kid on the footwear block Chillikids is returning to the Australian Shoe Fair with an expanded brand offering, following its launch last year. Chillikids founder Bettina Parker confirmed the brand had witnessed strong demand for its kids' sneakers since launching in summer 2009.


Minime fills bigger shoes

Minime Sydney is taking strides in its bid to target the adult market. Having started life as a children's range, the brand now offers a line of "grown up" shoes, with gladiator sandals topping the bill amid a range of on-trend styles.


Hot Italian brand Superga is preparing to stride into the local market at the Australian Shoe Fair in February. Superga's iconic casual 2750 sneaker forms the core of the label's offer and will be available in a wide range of colours, as well as a Disney inspired line for adults and kids.


A new range of balancing footwear is set to launch in Australia next month. Stretchwalker launched overseas 12 months ago and has been sold well based on its premise of harmony for body and mind, according to a spokesperson for the brand.


Walnut cracks ladies shoes

Children's footwear brand Walnut Melbourne plans to showcase an expanded range when it makes its first appearance at AUSTRALIAN SHOE FAIR in Sydney. Walnut's Sophie Carnegie confirmed the company, which recently launched a women's range, would significantly expand the line while also growing its kid's offer.


Sydney distribution company Sapato Imports is continuing its expansion drive with the addition of US girls' and women's footwear label Not Rated to its stable of fashion-led shoe brands.


High end heels on show

Women's premium fashion footwear brand Zoe Kratzmann has garnered covetable consumer media coverage for her line of crafted shoes in advance of showing at the AUSTRALIAN SHOE FAIR.


High-end women's footwear brand Nat-Sui has confirmed it will leverage its presence at the upcoming edition of the AUSTRALIAN SHOE FAIR to promote expansion interstate and possibly further afield. "We are doing the fair to enhance brand awareness and we're also hoping to gain new customers in South Australia, Victoria, Western Australia and overseas," confirmed Nat-Sui's Natalie Mainwaring.
