6 August 2010

High recognition brand Pierre Fontaine is set to unveil a new direction with its re-launch under the auspices of new owner Correll Footwear at Australian Shoe Fair.

Corell Footwear's Grant Arkins said following the company's acquisition of the brand, Pierre Fontaine would re-launch at the fair with a new look.

"There will be new packaging, a new range and a completely new life for the brand," he said.

A spokesperson for the brand added that while the new look Pierre Fontaine had been designed "for the shoe obsessed woman of Australia" it would not forget its true heritage.

"The range is all about offering on trend footwear at prices that won't break the bank. The prices will range from $49.95 up to $200. It is a tight but focused range encapsulating the autumn/winter trends."

"It is fun and fresh with plenty of feminine twists and interest. Pierre Fontaine keeps it simple; it is fashion forward, but with a classic longevity element too."

The brand's inspiration came from across the globe, she added.

"We are constantly monitoring trends to ensure that we are delivering the latest looks to our customers. We source from around the world, ensuring that we are using premium quality materials and putting the best details into our shoes for the savviest of customers."

Correll will showcase the new Pierre Fontaine range alongside its other brands, which include Levi's, Boxa and Drovers, at Australian Shoe Fair from 29-31 August at Melbourne Exhibition Centre.
