The AUSTRALIAN SHOE FAIR is a Free Trade Only Fair. Entry is restricted to bonafide members of the footwear and fashion industry and over the age of 16. Business ID may be required upon entry eg. Business card, letterhead or company documentation containing your company ABN. You may also be asked for personal identification such as a drivers licence to substantiate your identification.
Those not involved in the fashion and shoe industry will not be admitted. Selling or promotion of products/services to exhibitors is not permitted. No photography or sketching permitted. Students will not be registered.
Yes all trade visitors must register for the fair.
You can register online or by completing the registration form attached to the Trade Invitations. Trade Invitations will be available from June 2010. If you would like to receive a trade invitation please call +613 9654 7773.
Alternatively you can register for the fair when you arrive, however to avoid queues we recommend you pre-register.
Public Guests - No, do not register. This is a trade only event.
If you register online you will receive an email confirmation that gives you a summary of your registered details as well as your unique registration identification number. Your Visitor Access Card will be mailed directly to you before the fair.
If you fax your registration, your registration will be processed and your Visitor Access Card mailed directly to you before the fair.
All Visitor Access Cards will commence being mailed from mid July 2010. If you do not receive your Visitor Access Card before the fair, you can collect it from the onsite registration desk located near the entrance to the fair.
Note that the Organiser reserves the right to cancel invalid registrations to ensure that entry is limited to bonafide trade visitors.
Yes, if you need to check what details have been registered please telephone the Organiser, Australian Exhibitions & Conferences on tel +613 9654 7773. Alternatively, your registration details can be altered when you arrive at the fair at the onsite registration desk located near the entrance to the fair. You won't need to complete another registration form, simply present you Visitor Access Card & business identification at the counter.
Registered visitors may obtain a replacement Visitor Access Card at the registration counter without filling out another registration form. You will already be on our database. Just bring business identification with you.
Yes, you are welcome to register at the onsite registration desk at the entrance to the fair. We recommend pre-registration to avoid any queues. All onsite registrations will require business identification.
Students enrolled in a footwear related course at a tertiary level may attend the fair after 1pm on the final afternoon of the fair. Students are not required to register.
Course Administrators must apply in writing to the Organiser prior to the fair to bring class groups to the fair. Email applications must be sent to shoe@aec.net.au with details including institution, course, number of students and preferred attendance time.
Student passes are issued onsite from the registration desk with the appropriate student identity card.
Trade Fair entry is restricted to Trade Only. Children under 16 may attend free of charge if accompanied by an adult at all times. There are no child minding facilities available at the venue.

Most International visitors to Australia will require a Visa to enter the country. For Government details on Visas visit Australian Government Immigration site at www.immi.gov.au Remember if you need to make a Visa Application make sure you do so well in advance as there is usually a processing period involved.
